1936 pretty much put an end to Stoneware, and once again, Redwing Union Stoneware changed to Redwing Potteries, Inc. George Rumrill used Redwing to produce a line of art pottery for him from 1932-37.
By 1929, Stoneware sales were on the wane, so Redwing retooled and built a modern tunnel kiln, and art pottery began in full swing.

Whitewater's first potter was Warren Cole, active from 1845 to 1855 working in conjunction with George Williams, and, from the contour alone it may be assumed that this pottery is from his kiln, since ovoid pots were rare after 1850.
